Of course, I’ve always known of freemasonry, but only peripherally. I learned of your local chapters through a friend with whom I continually maintain an open intellectual dialogue regarding personal, spiritual, and political matters of substance and consequence. I have few friends of this caliber and intellect, and Rich has become one of them over the past 8 years. He recently suggested that I look into freemasonry as a means of meeting, sharing and collaborating with other good, ethical, compassionate men interested in discovering truth, discussing current affairs and our roles and responsibilities in them, and most importantly, have the courage to ACT in a manner that affects positive change in our community and in our world. My friend simply said to me this morning “You’re not alone”. At his invitation, I plan to attend a meeting very soon.
I belong to no lodge or chapter…but am wanting to become a member.

Hi? I am the Lesher Middle School representative for the PSD recognition night. I was just doing a little research and found this. So I decided to post a post just for the sake of posting a post. I don’t have much to say. Thank you.
Just checking out Chapters in the Loveland, CO area. We hope to move to the area in the next couple of years. Our daughter lives in Cheyenne, WY. My husband is a Past Master of his Lodge -2 times, and we have been WM/WP -5 times. I was Grand Adah in 2009 for the Grand Chapter of CA. Thank you for allowing us to look at your Chapter.
Fraternal Greetings brethren. I am glad to have found your website, as my grandfather, Roger Edwood Grant, was initiated, passed, and raised in your Worshipful Lodge in 1920-21.
It is an honor for me to carry on such a rich legacy of freemasonry in my own life. My grandfather has obviously moved on to that house made without hands, eternal in the heavens, as my father has as well, but this past Saturday, I was initiated an EA, and I was presented with the same white, lamb skin apron that my grandfather received in Collins Lodge #19 nearly 90 years ago.
It is an item of inestimable worth to me, and still carries the stamp and dates of my grandfather’s initiation as well as the name of the Collins Lodge. I very much look forward to visiting your lodge in the future, and seeing the sacred altar where my grandfather was made a Mason in due and ancient form.
May light ever shine on you from the East, and may the Supreme Architect of the Universe illuminate your path and mine as we travel together from the West to the East.
my great grandfather could have been a member of this lodge in the 1800s. his name was john thomas conroy. if you have older lodges in the area, would you email there names so that i can contact these lodges.

Fraternal greetings. I’ll visit Colorado Satate for Pos Doctor couse. It’s possible to make a visit at Lodge?
I greet you Bretnren,
If you see a man who quietly and modestly moves in the sphere of his life; who, without blemish, fulfills his duty as a man, a subject, a husband and a father; who is pious without hypocrisy, benevolent without ostentation, and aids his fellowman without self-interest; whose heart beats warm for friendship, whose serene mind is open for licensed pleasures, who in vicissitudes does not despair, nor in fortune will be presumptuous, and who will be resolute in the hour of danger;
The man who is free from superstition and free from infidelity; who in nature sees the finger of the Eternal Master; who feels and adores the higher destination of man; to whom faith, hope and charity are not mere words without any meaning; to whom property, nay even life, is not too dear for the protection of innocence and virtue, and for the defense of truth;
The man who towards himself is a severe judge, but who is tolerant with the debilities of his neighbor; who endeavors to oppose errors without arrogance, and to promote intelligence without impatience; who properly understands how to estimate and employ his means; who honors virtue though it may be in the most humble garment, and who does not favor vice though it be clad in purple; and who administers justice to merit whether dwelling in palaces or cottages.
The man who, without courting applause, is loved by all noble-minded men, respected by his superiors and revered by his subordinates; the man who never proclaims what he has done, can do, or will do, but where need is will lay hold with dispassionate courage, circumspect resolution, indefatigable exertion and a rare power of mind, and who will not cease until he has accomplished his work, and then, without pretension, will retire into the multitude because he did the good act, not for himself, but for the cause of good!
If you, my Brethren meet such a man, you will see the personification of brotherly love, relief and truth; and you will have found the ideal of a Freemason.
I will be moving to Fort Collins at the end of this month and look forward to meeting some of the brethen out there.
Fraternally yours,
Junior Warden, Bro Brendan C. Hammond

I just found out that my grandfather, Hans Gustav Aanes, who is buried beside my grandmother there in Fort Collins, was of the Craft. I only met Granddad once when I was a small child and sadly never got to know him.
Was he a member there of Collins lodge? Is there anyone there who remembers him (He died at age 76 back in 1964)? Was he a Past Master there and what year?
What was he like (I know he kindly took in a sweet old abused hound named Ceres. A year after he died, she allowed only me to touch her. The only other person who could do that was Grandaddy.)? What did he like to do? Any facts from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings,
My family just moved here to Milliken, CO from San Diego, CA and I am looking for a Lodge to visit. CA protocol requires that we request permission from the Master before visiting another Lodge. Is this also CO protocol, or can I just “show up” unnanounced? We are still just settling in to our new home and I cannot predict when I may be able to visit.
I love your website and it gives me lots of ideas to draw from so that we can build our own website at Metro. Beautiful. Thanks for helping spread the word and allowing all to enjoy the work that you are doing.

I greet you Bretnren,
If you see a man who quietly and modestly moves in the sphere of his life; who, without blemish, fulfills his duty as a man, a subject, a husband and a father; who is pious without hypocrisy, benevolent without ostentation, and aids his fellowman without self-interest; whose heart beats warm for friendship, whose serene mind is open for licensed pleasures, who in vicissitudes does not despair, nor in fortune will be presumptuous, and who will be resolute in the hour of danger;
The man who is free from superstition and free from infidelity; who in nature sees the finger of the Eternal Master; who feels and adores the higher destination of man; to whom faith, hope and charity are not mere words without any meaning; to whom property, nay even life, is not too dear for the protection of innocence and virtue, and for the defense of truth;

I am hoping to perhaps visit Bethel 28 and Collins #26 in April if that is alright! PHQ of Bethel 7 in Salt Lake City. Looking forward to meeting some Ft. Collins Jobies and Star gals. My grandpa was a great Mason in Utah, being part of Masonry (Tintic and Tooele lodges), El Kalah Shrine, Cryptic Masons, the Grand Commandery, York Rite, and Scottish Rite. He passed away last year and I am most grateful for my Masonic heritage from him and I don’t want to separate myself from it.
